Why Sherry is Running:

Sherry is running because she is the right person to be at the table to fight for all Atlanta residents.
As a 4-time breast cancer survivor, she knows how to keep fighting and never give up when faced with adversity. She will fight for Atlanta the same way she fought breast cancer by being persistent and relentless until the victory is won. She will keep fighting for YOU!

Sherry's Solutions:

Over Sherry's entire life, she has been working in the community and leading projects that have resulted in:
​
1) Sidewalks added for kids to safely walk to the Adams Park Library and Andrew & Walter Young YMCA (AKA Southside YMCA)
​
2) Street and sewer improvements; potholes repaired; street lights and traffic signals added
​
3) MARTA - Campbellton/Greenbriar BRT/LRT MORE MARTA Project funded, elevator added, escalators repaired, parking lot lighting improvements, restrooms opened, Oakland City rail station extra parking lot opened for Super Bowl LIII (held in Atlanta in 2019), restored bus service after service cuts due to the pandemic, ADA curb cuts for wheelchairs and increased community outreach for resident input.
